Composite and Adiabatic Methods for Control in Quantum and Optical Technologies

News 2018 (archive):

• In October 2018 at the Institute of Solid State Physics, BAS, Dr. Elica Kyoseva presented "New Composite Impulses for Quantum Control". The results find a wide experimental application in systems of connected optical fibers and nonlinear optics.

• On September 11, 2018, Stefano Ognyanski defended his bachelor thesis on "Computer Control of an Experiment on Manipulation of Laser Cooled Rb Atoms," headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emiliya Dimova.

• On June 7  2018 at the Institute of Solid State Physics, BAS, Dr. Patrick Cheinet from Laboratoire Aime Cotton, Orsay, France gave a lecture "Few-body interactions towards quantum information processing"

• This year CAMEL (Control of Quantum Dynamics of Atoms, Molecules and Ensembles by Light Workshop 2018) was realized 12- 16 March in Bansko, Bulgaria.
